Design faster

The current trend in BIM is ‘Everything is interconnected’, by using parametric objects. Moreover, the logic of their behavior can be determined by the user — whether an engineer or an architect.

In Allplan, these are PythonParts objects that can represent typical structures, also including reinforcement. Controlled by handles and parameters that can be linked to calculation programs, they, if necessary, also enabling the automatic views creation.

PythonParts can be successfully used with recurring operations (creating a formwork, adding fixtures and reinforcement meshes and bars, generating drawings, etc.) on standard elements. They therefore enable time-saving while also helping to avoid mistakes.

It’s a great tool! However, there is one problem — the Allplan release does not contain such objects for all eventualities. Fortunately, at Allbau Software we can create any necessary additional objects for you according to your specific requirements.

PythonParts can be controlled by graphic editing handles or by parameters. The behavior script is set either in Python programming language or visually. Some examples are:
